Physics Experience
The Physics Experience (PE) is hosted by the Seattle Science Lab and STEMTAC Foundation. This opportunity consists of a laboratory tour and a panel interview with physicists.
During the laboratory tour, students will have the opportunity to learn theoretical concepts, meet professionals across engineering fields, and interact with other high-tech equipment. During our panel interview, students will have a Q&A session with a two local physicists. These conversations and activities will allow students interested in pursuing physics to learn more about the diversity of opportunities within the career path.
Students interested in signing up for the PE can attend one or both of the in-person laboratory tour at the UW Applied Physics Lab (APL) and online workshop with our engineering panel. However, students who attend both events will be entered into a raffle to win a $20 gift card!
Lab Tour: May 28th (4:00 - 5:15) to the UW Applied Physics Lab
Workshop: May 31st at 10:00am over Zoom
Materials and Cost: free of cost - students will require a computer and stable internet connection for video conferencing.
